WVFC U9 – U12’s Assessments

Three assessment/ grading sessions
6.00-7.00pm
Monday 27th February, Wednesday 1st March & Friday 3rd March
Intra Club Games – Sunday 5th March

There is a substantial car park with access to the reserve from Gladeswood Drive, Mulgrave with a large number of car parks. The Tennis Club do ask that we use this car park as much as possible to accommodate their members. Gladeswood Drive does exit to Wellington Road, via Haverbrack Drive, to make it easy to leave. (the location is identified on the map below).

Please note;
• Players will be placed in teams according to the assessment process. Not on 2016 teams, tournaments, competitions participated over the summer months, or unofficial training before the assessments
• Players will play in their age group, unless in exception circumstances, for example not having played football/ soccer previously, a medical condition etc. All such exceptions will be agreed by the Technical Directors & WVFC Committee, any applications are to be in writing.
• It is important that players attend as many of the assessment sessions as possible to attend possible to determine the appropriate team for each player. The club recognises there are other commitments like school camp etc, where there are unavoidable circumstances. If a player attends no sessions, then the player will be placed in the lowest grade team. These rules will apply except for exceptional circumstances.
